Our 'Save The Dates'

I absolutely love stationery. So when it came to our wedding stationery I had a million and one ideas going round in my head. It was a bit of a struggle to give myself focus, but I felt I got there in the end. I am so happy with the way they came out, as each small element I had thought out clearly in my head.

I had to think of both an english version, and a french version! Alex is half french, so we are having a few french relatives coming over, who can't speak english, let alone read a bit of english, so I made a smaller translation card for them!!! God knows, how many 'bits' are going to make up our actual invitations.

As you can see from our save the dates, our theme is grey & yellow ;) Our save the dates are double sided, with one side including one of our photos from our engagement shoot with our amazing wedding photographer 'Marianne Taylor' who is an absolute genius with the camera! That post is to come!

I hand wrote all our envelopes, to give them a personal touch, and lined every envelope with home made striped paper. We sealed each envelope with our own home made stickers to! Our wedding is not going to be a big one, and I wanted to get our personality across in the save the dates, to give our guests a sneak peak of what is to come!

What do you think?!

  2. I absolutely love these! I saw that you have some designs on etsy. I was curious if you design "Save the Date" cards for others as well? Or if you just do what is actually on your etsy page?
