Orla Kiely Autumn/Winter 2013

source
I know I am a bit slow on the uptake in blogging this, but I felt I needed to have this post on my blog! My job is a fashion designer for a large australian retailer, so when fashion weeks come, one of my jobs it to check daily to see what the new trends are!

However, the Orla Kiely show appealed to me sooo much. Not only for its creativity in how Orla Kiely showed her collection. (You MUST check out the video if you have not seen it yet.) But for her usage of colour & prints on retro shapes, which is just so lovely. You all know I am sucker for yellow teamed back with grey. I also love the pastel pinks ...so pretty! If I had to choose one piece, it would be that yellow collarless coat!

You can view the rest of the Orla Kiely Autumn/Winter 2013 look book here.

  1. I loved this range so much! And you're in fashion! I was in retail for seven years in buying and merchandise planning! I was in Sydney though. Now I'm changing direction and studying graphic design though. Loving your blog. I hope you are starting to feel better Cathryn x
