I have just got back from a lovely weekend spent with good friends back home in Devon. The girls in the photo above, are some of my closest friends, we all met at University when we were studying our fashion design degree. We have all gone our separate ways, but we have the type of friendship that we can go for months without actually seeing each other, and still have no awkwardness between us. These girls TRULY make me laugh out loud!
Believe it or not, one of us is pregnant in the photo above.... Ariana (in the black and stripy top)! She is due in a few weeks!! She has such a neat little bump, that looking at her from straight on, you would never know she was pregnant!
The three of us, me, Alice & Kelly decided to throw Ariana a surprise baby shower!! Ariana is the first in our group of friends to have a baby, so we are all super excited that there will be a little one in the group! We were planning it for months, to try and arrange a date when we would all be back in Devon, we even had to involve her husband Nick, to make sure she was in the County! I came down from Hampshire, Kelly came down from London, and Alice the host, provided her living room!! It is not very often now, that we are able to all get together, but we all decided that a baby shower had to be organised, so we could spoil Ariana for the afternoon!!
We drank tea, ate jelly babies & biscuits, and chatted away for the afternoon, catching up on each others lives. As you can tell by the pink's & lilac's, that she is having a baby girl! We all can't wait to meet the little one, and it is so strange to think that the next time we all see Ariana, will be when she has a little baby in her arms! Exciting!
