1. Me and the husband | 2. Our wedding present from our two best friends | 3. Our beautiful wedding flowers. | 4. Our cheese 'cake' for our evening reception. |
Our wedding was very DIY. We made all the stationery, table runners, programmes, wedding favours (home made jam and CD's) tash's on sticks, chalkboards, photo booth, signs, string balls, decorated the vases, the pom poms, table plan, hay bale covers, straw flags, place names, cake topper.... the list goes on! However, it was these details that really made our day what it was. I am so glad that we stuck to our guns, and made the day we wanted it to be, as it all paid off. We had a very strong vision of what we wanted our day to look like, and it fully paid off... many people suggested that I should become a wedding planner.... who knows ;)
That day however, I felt truly blessed to finally be married to my best friend and being surrounded by our close family and friends. The ceremony was my favourite part of the whole day, hearing Alex's vows that he put together for me, and finally being announced as Husband & Wife. It was the best feeling ever! As cliche as it sounds, that day will go down as the best day of my life.
Congratulations my dear! Looks like a gorgeous day for you and I'm so pleased x
