Weekend Listening

Happy weekend!! Hope you are having a good one. My Saturday started off really good, with a phone call from my Mum, Dad & Brother back in the UK. I have hardly spoken to my brother since landing in Australia so it was so good to catch up with him.

I love myself a good podcast. They are something I listen to just before I go to bed, whilst at work, on holiday whilst sunbathing, in the car and also when I have a few moments to myself. I am slightly addicted to podcasts. So, I have compiled a list of my favourite podcasts, which hopefully are new to you. However I apologise if you instantly get hooked!

My number one podcast has to be ‘Joy The Baker’ series. This podcast is not only interesting, it is also insanely funny. It’s the sort of podcast that I find myself laughing to in the most awkward of places, especially quiet rooms! If you have not listened to this podcast, download it RIGHT now! I have been following them for most probably over a year now, and they pretty much kept me company when I worked for myself.

Another series is the Scott Mills Radio 1 show. This show fully makes me laugh. I got onto this podcast thanks to an old work colleague who told me all about it. We both used to sit next to each other with headphones on in the quietest of rooms trying not to laugh!

Another is a classic series, that I always go back to and I don’t think I will ever get bored of, and that’s the Russel Brand Show. Its from a good few years ago, but this will have you in stitches.

If you are learning a language, podcasts are excellent. Although my French lessons have been put on hold, I still listen to the odd lesson via a podcast ‘Coffee Break French’ has hundreds of mini lessons. I know that there are series for other languages such as Spain, Polish, German etc.

Enjoy :)
